Aaaah Girls Aloud...

The girls never fail to impress. Last night I was at the Metro Radio Arena for the second night of Girls Aloud and I loved every minute of it. Having booked the tickets at the very last minute our seats weren't exactly the best. To be honest they were rubbish ... second row from the back, on the ground level. So I was not the biggest fan of the giant man in front of me.
Ignoring the rubbish seats though, the concert was amazing. The stage design was fantastically simple yet effective and the girls' outfits never failed to make them look stunning.
My favourite part had to be when the platform lifted and they drifted over the audience to a center stage (where I could see a lot better).
I had my dancing shoes on the whole night and my throat was a little sore this morning but it was worth it.

Who wore it best?

I have to admit I am a little sad. I love love love the "who wore it best" features in magazines. I try not to let my eyes see the results as I study the photos to see who I think looks best. Here are some of the ones a love, as published by Heat World. Who do you think wore it best?

Body Conscious Cheryl?

Cheryl Cole has to be one of the most sought after celebrity females at the minute but apparently she would like to change a few things about herself. She would like to have smaller boobs as she doesn't like looking "too booby" and would love a bigger bum! For all those people that hate their big bum, that's something to think about!
"I hate looking thin" she said. "I don't want to be up and down or look like a lolly pop lady."
Just goes to show, everyone had their body hang ups.

Stars and their cars...

After the recent purchase of my lovely Fiat Punto, I decided to do a bit of research and see what the celebs are driving around in. Minute after minute I became more and more jealous, so i have made a pact with myself. In the future I am going to be VERY rich.

However, not all the celebs are driving top of the range cars. Lilly Allen is the proud owner of a mini cooper...

Or you could opt for two wheels rather than four, like Brat Pitt and his personalized Chopper...

But my favourite of all has to be what Paris Hilton did with her Bentley. She handed it over to West Coast Customs (the people who do Pimp My Ride) for a little makeover...Paris style.

But for now i shall be happy with my little first car. I'll start saving for the pink Bentley next year.

A true inspiration...

I have been following The Big Red Nose Day Climb from start to finish on radio 1 every morning and am amazed by how well all the celebrity's did. They spent seven days and nights climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in order to raise as much money as possible for comic relief. I know I would never have the strength and determination to complete the vigorous training and preparation, never mind the emotional stress of the whole experience.
The climbers we: Chris Moyles, Fearne Cotton, Cheryl Cole, Kimberly Walsh, Alesha Dixon, Ben Shepherd, Ronan Keating, Denise van Outan and Gary Barlow. I'm sure this experience will stay with them for the rest of their lives and the amount of money raised was much more than expected. The total so far? A massive £1,404,243

Celebrity look alikes?

While having a play about in the internet, I came across this website. I spent ages sifting through the endless photos of people who make a living out of looking like famous people. It is obvious that some of the people featured have natural similarities to the celebrities, but some apear to be pulling out all the stops to try and look the same. In my opinion, the Jordan look alike has to be the worst.

Is this just a harmless bit of fun, or celebrity obbsession?

Fashion on the Red Carpet

I have to admit, my favourate part of the Oscars has to be watching all the stars on the Red Carpet. Here are some of my favourates...

And the one I didn't like? Child stars that look older than me tend to make me uneasy...

Nicole Riche is pregnant again!

"I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope [you're] all feeling as good as i am right now."

This is how Joel Madden announced his Girlfriend, Nicole Riche is pregnant again. The couple are to become parents again barely a year after the birth of their first daughter, Harlow.

It's good to see Nicole growing up after her antics on The Simple Life with Paris Hilton. I wonder how quick she will lose her baby weight this time?

Tom Jones is grey?

Well that was what caught my attention the most throughout The Brit Awards. What happened to the black haired, over tanned and slightly cringe worthy 'sex bomb'? I suppose he had to face up to being 68 sometime.

The Brits aren't as good as they used to be. I miss the days of Robbie Williams winning endless awards, Oasis performing and Westlife with the original lineup. I did however, enjoy the Gavin and Stacey lot presenting the show. Their dance with Kyle had me laughing.

Girls Aloud looked amazing, as usual. Sarah looked like she might have had one too many glasses of wine and showed no sign of hiding it. At least Alan Carr managed to hold back this year!

I've never been a fan of the Pet Shop Boys, so seeing them win the Outstanding Contribution To Music award was a bit disappointing. In a recent PR Strategy class at uni, we were talking about event management. We were told of an event that the Pet Shop Boys were the guests of and my class didn't seem to impressed. Some said it might have even put them off going. Maybe we are just the wrong generation?

Favourite Brit Awards moment? Coldplays performance...

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog about celebrity news and gossip! It will contain all the latest news from the red carpet, Hollywood, the music scene and television industry.

There are a lot of things happening in the celeb world at the minute so I'm sure I'll find enough to talk about.

The musical night of the year is to take place tonight... The Brit Awards 2009! I personally cannot wait for the British Group category! Coldplay, Girls Aloud and Take That are all nominated so it'll be interesting to see who wins!

I have my fingers crossed for The Killers in the International Group and Best Album category. My CD practically had a hole in it has been played that many times. I'm sure my neighbours appreciate it.
